Great Escape's Future of Music Radio Debate

The Great Escape's 'Future of Music Radio Debate' took place as part of our growing convention schedule at The Dome on Friday 14th May. The debate featured Sean Adams (Founder, DrownedinSound.com), Stefan Baumschlager (Head Label Liaison, Last.fm), Ben Cave (Somethin' Else), Clive Dickens (Chief Operating Officer, Absolute Radio), Matt Everitt (BBC 6 Music) (pictured), Dave Haynes (VP Business Development, Soundcloud) and John Kennedy (Presenter, XFM).

Asking questions such as 'In light of the recent proposed changes at the BBC, what is the state  of play with traditional radio outlets in the UK and is DAB still the way forward?' the debate drummed up a lot of interest from the delegates and press present at TGE and sparked The Guardian article: Traditional DJs 'will survive internet radio revolution': http://www.guardian.co.uk/tv-and-radio/2010/may/16/traditional-djs-survive-internet-radio-revolution
